* lisp/org.el (org-return): Make sure to keep headline from being
invalidated by restricting positions where it can be split.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el (test-org/return): Add test.
* org.el (org-return): Check for links first when
`org-return-follows-link' is non-nil, before inserting any newlines.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el (test-org/return): Add test.
This patch restores order in which `org-return' perform actions (which
was changed in a7e62499f2).

(org-entry-get-with-inheritance): Fix extended values, which do not
stop anymore inheritance search.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el (test-org/entry-get): Add tests.
* lisp/org.el (org-add-planning-info): Reset point before each
planning entry search. Clean up extra spaces.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el (test-org/add-planning-info): Add tests.
- Reposition save-excursion call to reset point every dolist
iteration. Otherwise, the order of the entries to be removed
matters, and a call like
(org-add-planning-info nil nil 'scheduled 'deadline)
on
DEADLINE: <2015-06-26 Fri> SCHEDULED: <2015-06-26 Fri>
will fail to remove the deadline entry.
- Delete leading white space even when at the beginning of the line so
that, when org-adapt-indentation is nil, a space is not inserted
when removing the leading planning info entry.
This prevents headings with repeating entries like
SCHEDULED: <2015-06-26 Fri +1w>
from being closed and recycled with an extra space in front of
SCHEDULED.
- Add leading white space to the planning info entry regexp to prevent
leftover white space when removing entries other than the first
entry.
* lisp/org.el (org-clone-subtree-with-time-shift): Allow argument
specifying number of clones to be 0.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el (test-org/clone-with-time-shift): Add
tests.
This makes it possible to clone a subtree with a repeating timestamp
so that the repeater is removed from the original subtree and a single
shifted, repeating clone is created. If the original subtree does not
have a repeating timestamp, no clones will be made.
* org.el (org-return): RET breaks headline text.
* test-org.el (test-org/return): Test org-return on headline text.
* ORG-NEWS: Add entry on new org-return behavior.
* lisp/org.el (org-refresh-category-properties): Prevent the `put-text-property'

needed so far.

* lisp/org.el (org-tags-expand): Nesting grouptags.
Allowing subtags to be defined as groups themselves.
: #+TAGS: [ Group : SubOne(1) SubTwo ]
: #+TAGS: [ SubOne : SubOne1 SubOne2 ]
: #+TAGS: [ SubTwo : SubTwo1 SubTwo2 ]
Should be seen as a tree of tags:
- Group
- SubOne
- SubOne1
- SubOne2
- SubTwo
- SubTwo1
- SubTwo2
Searching for "Group" should return all tags defined above.
* lisp/org.el (org-tags-expand): Grouptags can have regular expressions as
"sub-tags".
The regular expressions in the group must be marked up within { }.
Example use:
: #+TAGS: [ Project : {P@.+} ]
Searching for the tag Project will now list all tags also including
regular expression matches for P@.+. Good for example if tags for a
certain project is tagged with a common project-identifier,
i.e. P@2014_OrgTags.
* lisp/org.el (org-tag-alist) : New symbols for grouptags when the
tags in the group don't have to be distinct on a heading.
Grouptags had to previously be defined with { }. This syntax is
already used for exclusive tags and Grouptags need their own,
non-exclusive syntax. This behaviour is achieved with [ ]. Note: {
} can still be used also for Grouptags but then only one of the
given tags can be used on the headline at the same time. Example:
[ group : sub1 sub2 ]
Grouptags also are not filtered when setting up tags. This means
they can exist multiple times in org-tag-alist list. It will be
usable if nesting of grouptags is ever to become reality.
There is a slightly annoying side-effect when setting tags in that a
tag which is both a part of a grouptag and a grouptag of it's own
will get multiple key-choices in the selection-UI.
* lisp/org.el (org--setup-process-tags): Adaption for the added syntax
for non-distinct grouptags.
* lisp/org.el (org-fast-tag-selection): Add support for the added,
non-unique, grouptag-syntax. Minor (if ...) to (when ...) refactor.

* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
* lisp/org.el (org-store-link, org-link-search, org-options-keywords):
Remove reference to TARGET keyword.
* lisp/ox.el (org-export-resolve-fuzzy-link, org-export-get-ordinal):

* testing/lisp/test-ox.el: Update tests.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Update tests.
Its specifications were not useful enough to keep maintaining this
feature.
* org.el (org-parse-time-string): Allow strings supported by
tags/properties matcher (eg <now>, <yesterday>, <-7d>).
* test-org.el (test-org/org-parse-time-string): New test.
This is based on Ilya's commit 001bcb9. This commit was
wrong because active timestamps were not parsed correctly
anymore. This commit handles them correctly.
Thanks to Ivan Vilata i Balaguer for pushing this forward.
* lisp/org.el (org-all-targets): Fix radio targets detection when
object is directly followed by a non-whitespace character.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
* lisp/org.el (org-beginning-of-line): check `visual-line-mode'
instead of `line-visual-mode' to determine whether to move by visual
lines.
* lisp/org.el (org-kill-line): use of org-bound-and-true-p macro.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test
* lisp/org.el (org-end-of-line): On a hidden block make sure to
delegate motion to `end-of-line' instead of `move-end-of-line' in
order to stay on the current line.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Update test.
* lisp/org.el (org-macro-replace-all): Signal an error when a circular
macro expansion happens.
(org-macro-initialize-templates): Fix docstring.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.

mode is nil when pre-computed `fill-prefix' is the empty string.
Otherwise filling functions from fill.el think it has to be computed
again and overwrite it.
* lisp/org.el (org-end-of-line): Do not call `end-of-visual-line' when
moving to the end of line. Also improve behaviour on elements that
can be hidden.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add tests.
* contrib/lisp/org-export.el (org-export-expand-macro): New function.
(org-export-as): Use new function.
* lisp/org.el (org-macro-expand, org-macro-replace-all): Change
signature. The function now accepts an alist of templates so it
doesn't have to rely only on `org-macro-templates'.
(org-macro-initialize-templates): {{{date}}} is not anymore an alias
for {{{time}}}. During export, it will provide the value stored in
DATE keyword instead.
* testing/lisp/test-org-export.el: Add tests.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Update tests.
* lisp/org.el (org-backward-element): When called at the beginning of
first element in section, the function shouldn't return an error but
move point to headline or point-min instead.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
* lisp/org.el (org-fill-context-prefix, org-fill-paragraph): Do not
fill verse blocks contents. Verse blocks can be used to format
free-form poetry, so filling has to be done manually.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Remove unnecessary tests.
* lisp/org.el (org-fill-paragraph): Fix filling in a narrowed buffer.
(org-fill-context-prefix): Fill prefix doesn't depend on current
narrowing.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
* lisp/org-element.el (org-element-item-parser,
org-element-plain-list-parser): Make sure that the element ends at
the beginning of a line if possible.
(org-element-at-point): Return expected element when point is at an
element's end or at its contents' end.
* testing/lisp/test-org-element.el: Add test.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
* lisp/org.el (org-mark-subtree): Do not make a special case for
inlinetasks when marking a subtree. These are handled by
`org-element-mark-element'.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
* lisp/org.el (org-mode): Set comments related variables.
(org-insert-comment, org-comment-or-uncomment-region): New functions.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add test.
I started from the 78ec8e commit then cherry-picked and squashed
commits that have been done in master since then, except the bad
commits that overwrote the tree (in master) with the tree in maint.
This commit also bumps the version number to 7.8.06.
The only "fix" that was made between 78ec8e and the previous commit
is e0072f which has been reported to break stuff.
This fixes a wrong merge that should not have happened:
commit 7e903a merges the master branch into the maint branch,
while we really want to keep the maint branch a bugfix-only
branch.
This commit reverts back the maint branch to its state before
merging the master branch. From there, we will fix remaining
problems with the maint branch (e.g. copyright issues) then
release this maint branch as Org-mode 7.8.05.
* lisp/org.el (org-link-search): Search for #+name affiliated keywords
and invisible targets.
* contrib/lisp/org-element.el (org-element-link-parser): Remove "ref"
links relative part.
(org-element-target-parser): Move property name from `:raw-value' to
`:value'.
(org-element-recursive-objects): Remove targets from tables. Cells
are not parsed unless explicitely asked by back-end developer, too
late. A target wouldn't be noticed in time. One solution could be to
parse every table, but that's time consumming.
(org-element-object-restrictions): Target are not recursive anymore.
* contrib/lisp/org-export.el (org-export-resolve-fuzzy-link): Find
elements with a matching "#+name: path" affiliated keyword.
(org-export-get-ordinal): Make special cases for headlines, items,
footnotes definitions and references.
(org-export-resolve-ref-link): Removed function.
* EXPERIMENTAL/org-e-latex.el (org-e-latex-link): Handle
cross-reference numbers.
(org-e-latex-target): Targets have no contents.
* EXPERIMENTAL/org-e-ascii.el (org-e-ascii--describe-links): Ignore
fuzzy links in link description at the end of the section.
(org-e-ascii-link): Handle cross-reference numbers.
* testing/contrib/lisp/test-org-export.el: Add tests.
* testing/lisp/test-org.el: Add tests.
* test-org.el (test-org/org-link-unescape-ascii-extended-char):
Explicitely set coding system for unescaped string.
Needed for Emacs22 to pass these tests. The input string is extended
ASCII which is covered by latin-1 coding system.

(test-org/org-link-unescape-ascii-ctrl-character)
(test-org/org-link-unescape-multibyte-character)
(test-org/org-link-unescape-ascii-extended-char): New tests for
unicode aware percent escaping
All tests for escaping/unescaping multibyte characters are expected to
fail at the moment, because org-link-escape/unescape is not yet
unicode aware.
